Clinical Psychologist and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC)
Niki is a compassionate psychologist specializing in eating disorders. As a Clinical Psychologist and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician with the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), she offers a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to treatment. Niki’s focus is on empowering her clients to take meaningful steps toward recovery, creating a safe and inclusive space that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
Niki has a particular passion for supporting clients in improving body acceptance and fostering a positive relationship with food and eating. She enjoys working with people of all bodies, genders, and abilities and practices from a neurodiverse-affirming and Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. With a strong belief in holistic care, Niki values collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes and client experiences.
Niki is trained and draws up evidence-based treatments such as Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-E), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM), Schema therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), CBT for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (CBT-AR), and Acceptance commitment therapy (ACT). She has experience across diverse settings, including academia, schools, community-based NGOs, hospital inpatient programs, and private practice.
Beyond her expertise in eating disorders, Niki works with individuals navigating, Adult neurodivergance (Autism and ADHD). anxiety, mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder), trauma, low self-esteem, PTSD, and challenges related to alcohol and other substances. Using a trauma-informed lens, Niki provides a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges, make meaningful changes, build a more positive and fulfilling relationship with food, their bodies, and wellbeing.
